Biafrans Protests in Portharcourt-Aba Road...

The Nigerian Civil War, also known as theBiafran War, 6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970, was a war fought to counter the secessionof Biafra from Nigeria. Biafra represented nationalist aspirations of the Igbo people, whose leadership felt they could no longer coexist with the Northern-dominated federal government. The conflict resulted from political, economic, ethnic, cultural and religious tensions which preceded Britain's formal decolonization of Nigeria from 1960–1963. Immediate causes of the war in 1966 included a military coupa counter-coup, and persecution of Igbo living in Northern Nigeria. Control over oil production in the Niger Delta played a vital strategic role.

Could this whole Biafra fight be coming up again? Or should I say it is up and ready...  The agitation for the actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra has taken a new dimension with a new leader of the struggle, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu declaring his readiness to fight all the way.
He said Nigeria would seize to exist by December 2015.
The Indigenous People of Biafra protest crept into Aba earlier today, grounding the city regarded as the heartbeat State the South East.

The protest came just a  faction of the separatist group, Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB) has issued a one week ultimatum to the Federal Government to immediately release the detained Director of Radio Biafra and Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, or face severe sanctions.

And today 10th November they gathered in Ph-Aba road, blocking  all routes leading that way...
